The Learn X Design 2027 logo is built around the idea of “Crossings”: the meeting of disciplines, cultures, people, and ways of learning through design. The X is more than a letter; it represents intersections, encounters, and convergence, where design education evolves.

 

Its flowing, layered form refers to the waves of the Bosphorus, while the diagonal structure subtly evokes the bridges that connect the city’s two sides. The colour palette brings together Bosphorus blues and the vivid tones of the European redbud, or erguvan tree, one of Istanbul’s symbolic seasonal colours.

The logo is accompanied by a modern serif typeface, chosen to balance contemporary clarity with a sense of scholarly tradition. Its refined contrast and editorial character speak to the research-oriented nature of the conference, while its elegant rhythm complements the fluid, layered form of the X.
