We welcome submissions from authors with formal academic or professional organization affiliations, as well as authors that are independent researchers.
Each author can submit a maximum of two works as the lead author. The participant fee includes up to two submissions, all of which are subject to peer review. To be included in the proceedings, at least one of the authors must register, attend, and present their work physically at the conference.
As with all DRS archive publications, all submissions will be double blind peer reviewed. All accepted submissions will be published as part of the Proceedings of Learn X Design series and archived in the DRS Digital Library.

Language
All submissions must be prepared in English and fully anonymised for the purposes of double-blind peer review. Authors are expected to ensure that their submissions demonstrate clarity, accuracy, coherence, and an appropriate standard of academic expression.
The use of language-support tools, including generative AI tools, is permitted only for editorial purposes, such as improving grammar, readability, clarity, and textual organisation. Such tools must not be used to generate substantive scholarly content, formulate original arguments, or produce the main body of the submission. Any use of AI tools should be transparently acknowledged by the authors in the submission portal and Disclosure of AI Use Section of the contribution.
Ethical Standards and Originality
By submitting their work to Learn X Design 2027, authors acknowledge and confirm that the submission is original, has not been previously published, and is not currently under consideration elsewhere. They also confirm that all co-authors have reviewed and approved the submission, and that any research involving human and non-human participants has been conducted in accordance with relevant ethical requirements.
Authors are required to declare any use of generative AI tools and remain fully responsible for the intellectual content of their work. They must also ensure that permission has been obtained for any third-party images, figures, or other copyrighted materials included in the submission. Any form of plagiarism and misconduct will lead to rejection or retraction.
